Lynx Lake
Lynx
Lake is one of the most popular
recreation areas in central Arizona.
Mild weather, the cool ponderosa pine
forest, trout fishing, boating, mountain
hiking, horseback riding, gold panning,
archaeological sites, and bird watching
are popular. The lake attracts eagles
and osprey. Lynx Lake was formed in 1952
by building a dam on Lynx Creek.
