Goldwater Lake
Goldwater
Lake was named for Morris Goldwater, a
longtime mayor who served Prescott.
There are two lakes here. Upper
Goldwater Lake and Lower.
Upper Goldwater Lake is open to the
public. This lake is maintained by the
City of Prescott Parks and Recreation
Department.
Park facilities include picnicking,
volleyball, horseshoes, covered ramadas,
playgrounds and more.
I recommend either Goldwater or Lynx,
for an easy place to catch a fish. Try
meal worms at Goldwater, fished with a
bobber, a foot off the bottom.
